This project was intended to be a tunnel book where using the accordion book technique I then carefully cut and applied each layer one by one to portray the effect of depth within a pond like scenario.  It took many trials and errors and a lot of sketching and pre planning to create the exact scene. For my medium of choice for the illustrations themselves I decided to land at colored pencil illustration as it fit the playful scene best.
