As my first non school client I had the pleasure of working with a long time friend of mine, Justin Cimo in beginning his branding identity for his painting company known as Cimo Home Refreshments. We worked together for about 5 months and plan to work together more in the future
What is Cimo Home Refreshments?
Cimo Home Refreshments is a upcoming painting and home redecoration company run by Justin Cimo being located in Rochester New York, Justin has a solid level of experience and pre existing jobs within the industry before starting his own business and reached out to me for a simple starting business card design. Through weeks of drafts and working together to ideate the best design possible below are the final results of our work together where you can expect more from this in the foreseeable future.

Whilst working with Cimo, he made his visual wants very clear with me looking for a red and black color scheme with a paint brash outline that portrait d the idea that his hard work is never finished. We plan on making a new rendition in the future. In a way the initial text of Cimo Home Refreshments becomes his personal logo or at least a place holder as we work to ideate a stronger piece to provoke recognition. BUSINESS Card Front
The backing of Cimo’s card was intended to be a bit more design based and simplistic . We intended to keep the basic black and red color scheme with white tones complimented by a headshot, contact information and QR codes for easy and fast navigation. The goal is for clear legibility and easy access to contacting and booking. BUSINESS Card Backing
