This poster project was a personal passion work regarding Gillnet awareness, Gillnets are used in mass commercial fishing and are a catalyst to the endangerment of many aquatic species primarily those who rely on oxygen whilst the Gillnet’s invisibility within the water restricts and strangles these creatures. My goal from this work was to not only depict an eye catching picture of what happens but highlight many species and relay a call to action with links to educational websites and donation work funding the abolishment of these methods. As you may be able to tell the environment and protecting wildlife is a massive passion for me and my goal through my personal work is to spread awareness to the issues causing mass extinction and damage of the ecosystem.
